Nevhiz Demirel

Nevhiz Demirel is a very inspiring and competent speaker known for her excellent communication skills and strong sense of interaction with the participants irrespective of number and composition of audience.Creating a pleasant and participative learning environment in all her programs and continiously motivating her audience for self development have made her a sought after speaker and consultant.

After completing the English High School in Istanbul, Nevhiz Demirel obtained her BA in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University. She has commenced her career in the London office of Price Waterhouse and worked there as a member of the professional team for four years.

On her return to Turkey, she worked for Reuters as a financial controller. In 1990 she decided to resume her career in the field of management of organizational behavior, motivation and training. She was extensively trained in Denmark in the education of adults and has worked in the Turkish operation of the Danish based company TMI (Time Manager International) as a management consultant and instructor.

In 1993 she has established the Educational Services Department in Arthur Andersen, Turkey and worked as the Director of Training until 1997. Since then N.Demirel is working independently under the name of DDE.

Demirel who has attended numerous programs in Turkey and abroad (Denmark, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Argentina, and Czech Republic) both as a speaker and an observer had the opportunity to work with eminent people in their field and some training gurus. She delivers all her programs and services both in Turkish and English.

Demirel concentrates mainly in the areas of personal development and group development and renders her programs and services in the fields of customer satisfaction and service quality, communication, negotiation, personal quality, human relations, trainer skills and presentation skills. Nevhiz Demirel is also qualified in the use and interpretation of MBTI, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

Demirel provides training and consulting services for leading Turkish and international companies. DDE programs have been developed with special care to the specifications and requirements of Turkish work environment and the needs and expectations of Turkish people. To ensure maximum satisfaction, most of the programs are customized prior to delivery, to meet individual organizational needs.

Demirel provides training and consulting services for BP Turkey and BP dealers since 1991. The extensive training and facilitation program carried out by DDE and various related activities undertaken during BP-Mobil joint venture process, brought “BP Customer Responsiveness 1997 European Award”, for BP Turkey.

DDE has also worked closely with Turkish operation of such noted clients as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coca-Cola, Reuters, Cargill, Sabancı Group of Companies, Kipa Supermarkets, Antalya Airport and various others.
